Markus Winter travels to Vietnam to take over the planning for a new hotel according to the latest environmental standards. Markus meets attractive Nora who pretends to be a guest at his hotel. Markus does not suspect that Nora is actually here on espionage for a Chinese investor. The bond between both strengthens when they find an abandoned baby in front of the hotel. After some research Markus offers the young mother – a deceased employee’s wife, a job. When he finds out that Nora only uses him, he is disappointed. But she has now lost her heart to the charismatic hotel manager and decides to support his project. They succeed to convince the government that the eco-friendly hotel will preserve the nature of Vietnam untouched. Fabian who stays in the luxury hotel finds Silke – another hotel quest, attractive. He has learnt by chance of her blind date with her Internet acquaintance Guido who cannot come to Vietnam, and steals his identity. As Silke finally finds out everything, she is disappointed and leaves Fabian. For chef Malte, however, things are going well. He is head over heels in love with pretty Vietnamese Lamai. But when his father tries to persuade Malta to take up his fast food chain in Germany, that suddenly changes. Malta wants to stay in Vietnam and marry Lamai. When Malte’s ex-girlfriend arrives from Germany, and tells Lamai that she is still engaged to Malte, chaos reigns at the Dream Hotel.
