Amundsen Sea

The Amundsen Sea is the area of the largest known volcano eruption and one of the major ice drainage basins in Antarctica, which it borders along Marie Byrd Land. Mostly ice-covered, it features two of its largest glaciers, proposed to raise global sea levels by 1-2 m, if they were to melt due to the local volcanic activity as well as the global warming.
